This Forsberg rotary airlock / rotary feeder uses a 6-vane rotor assembly with urethane double-lip seals on each vane to meter compatible bulk material through the valve while helping maintain separation between the upstream and downstream sides of a process.
The unit is driven by a 1 HP Baldor Reliance Super-E motor through a 50:1 gear reducer, providing slow-speed rotary operation suited to controlled material feeding.
The unit previously handled dust and light fines. Rotary-airlock performance and suitability depend on material characteristics, bulk density, particle size, required feed rate, pressure differential and rotor clearances.

This current video shows the rotor and drive system running prior to sale. Contact Kinsman Separation Service for additional condition information or application questions.
Rotary airlock sizing and performance depend on the product being handled, bulk density, particle size, required throughput, rotor speed, pressure conditions and the surrounding process equipment.
Kinsman Separation Service can discuss the buyer’s application and help evaluate whether this unit is appropriate for the intended material-handling system.
Throughput cannot be determined from inlet size or motor horsepower alone. Actual capacity depends on rotor volume, material characteristics, fill efficiency, rotor speed and system conditions.
Contact Kinsman Separation Service with your material and required feed rate for application discussion.
