Condition: New / Never Installed – Factory Tested
This conveyor has never been installed or placed into production service.
Conveyor Engineering & Manufacturing assembled and test-ran the equipment at the factory to verify operation before delivery.
No cosmetic damage has been reported. Light surface flash rust is present on portions of the screw and trough from storage humidity.
Additional current testing can be arranged upon request or as part of a pending sale.
The conveyor was originally engineered to move approximately 1,200 lb/hr of fiberglass with a bulk density of 28 lb/ft³ at a 22° incline.
The original engineering basis calculated screw speed around 30% trough loading under the inlet, with horsepower sized using the manufacturer’s specified design conditions.
The 1,200 lb/hr figure is specific to that original material and configuration and should not be interpreted as a universal throughput rating.
This conveyor’s original design basis was 28 lb/ft³ fiberglass. Other dry bulk materials can fall within a similar bulk-density range, including materials such as graphite flour, barley meal and certain dry ground malt products.
Similar bulk density alone does not establish conveyor suitability or capacity. Particle size, flowability, abrasiveness, moisture content, incline, sanitation requirements and required throughput should all be evaluated for the specific application.
Kinsman Separation Service can review the buyer’s material and process requirements to help determine whether this conveyor is an appropriate fit.
